Accessibility statement

Last updated: 5 October 2026

This statement applies to www.lens-network.com, run by Lived Experience Network Ltd (LENs).

Using this website

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using your browser or device settings;
  • zoom in up to 400% without text spilling off the screen;
  • use the whole website with just a keyboard;
  • skip straight to the main content of each page;
  • turn off animation by choosing “reduce motion” in your device settings;
  • use the contact form even if JavaScript is turned off.

We have also written the website, especially the Join Us page, in plain English.

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

How accessible this website is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. Our automated checks find no failures on any page. We have not yet had a full manual audit or tested with screen reader users, so there may be problems we have not found.

The application form for Experts by Experience (onboarding.lens-network.co.uk) is a separate LENs service and is not covered by this statement.

Reporting a problem or asking for another format

If you find a problem with this website, or need information in a different format, such as large print, easy read or audio, email info@lens-network.com. Please tell us the web address of the page, what the problem is and the format you need.

We will consider your request and reply within 5 working days.

How we tested this website

Every time we change the website, automated tests check every page on a desktop and a mobile screen size. They check for WCAG 2.2 A and AA failures (using axe), that no page scrolls sideways (including at 320 pixels wide, the same as zooming to 400%), and that the skip link, menu and contact form work with a keyboard and without JavaScript.

We plan a full manual audit, including screen reader testing, as part of our website redesign. This statement was prepared on 5 October 2026.
